This is a simple, nut-based gravy that you can use in a variety of recipes. It also lends itself well to modifications, such as adding mushrooms or different herbs.
- 2 cups water
- ¾ cup raw cashews
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- ¼ cup liquid aminos
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy.
- Add mixture to a saucepan and heat on medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens (about 3-5 minutes).
Ready in about 10-15 minutes
