This is a simple, nut-based gravy that you can use in a variety of recipes. It also lends itself well to modifications, such as adding mushrooms or different herbs.


  • 2 cups water
  • ¾ cup raw cashews
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • ¼ cup liquid aminos


  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy.
  • Add mixture to a saucepan and heat on medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens (about 3-5 minutes).

Ready in about 10-15 minutes
