It's that time of year again: the 4th of July. A time to spend with family, the outdoors, and my personal favorite… fireworks! I'm not as much of a pyromaniac as I used to be, but I still love a good explosion!
Right now, the weather around the Life and Health office is reaching 110+ degrees. We're all looking forward towards hanging out around a friend's swimming pool this weekend. No matter what you do, it is important to get outside, breathe some fresh (albeit hot) air, and spend time socializing with people close to you. The best thing? All of this will be a benefit to your health and well-being.
All this sounds great, but… what kind of food is there going to be? Well, we've got several different options for you: they’re the plant-based versions of your typical 4th of July barbecue. However, we recommend you start with a big juicy watermelon—it just can’t be beat on a hot summer day.
