Seven Deadly Psychological Sins | Introduction

Note: To see these seven sins in article format follow the link here.

Day in and day out, people enter Jennifer Jill Schwirzer’s office with the same problems.  Jennifer decided to boil those problems down, into what she calls the “7 Deadly Psychological Sins.” These aren’t moral sins per se, but they are things we do that sabotage ourselves, hurt other people, or sabotage our relationships.  They are ways in which we dysfunction.

In each video Jennifer will start with an explanation of a psychological sin, then share a “replacement behavior.”  Positive reinforcement encourages better behavior. It’s futile to just point out problems, there needs to be a positive replacement for those problems. If we don’t replace those negative patterns with something positive, then we’re likely to relapse.  The replacement behavior will help to substitute that negative behavior, and will hopefully be helpful to you.

  1. Good day Dr Schwirzer, my name is Sandrea Long-White from the Kencot SDA Church in Kingston Jamaica. I have watched the presentationa and have found them very interesting and I think they would be very helpful for our church members. I have suggested to the Health Ministries Depaart ment of my Church, that we plan a series of presentation to share them with the congregation I want to know if it would be ok to use the presentations,. We would show one presentations nightly and have someone following up with comments or annswer questions persons may have. Please note that all our services are streamed and viewed by persons across several countries. Although we would prefer to do the meetings/presentations face to face, we would reach more of our member if we do them online. I am thereforealso asking about your availability to join us online for the series so you would be the specialist who would answer the questions raised and give addition information as would be needed, We would love to have you face to face but cost would be prohibitive for us at this time,

Thank you for your kind consideration and I look forward to hearing from you. I pray that God will continue to bless your ministry abundantly.

    1. Hi, I’m afraid this program isn’t available in a different language, but our 8 Laws of Health series has Spanish subtitles.
