All nutritionists recognize that Vitamin B12 is essential to human health, but why do the recommended intakes vary so widely?

We recently had the privilege of attending the 6th International Congress on Vegetarian Nutrition (ICVN) at Loma Linda University. There we spoke with Claus Leitzmann Ph.D, an internationally recognized expert on nutrition. He was more than willing to answer our questions.
